Tuesday. It is Tuesday, right? We’re in quite a fog as of late, not really sure which way is up, what day it is, or even if it’s day or night. Praise The Lord, Hope slept for about 6 hours last night! Hallelujah, we certainly needed that.
Currently, we’re living with James’s parents, because his sister and her husband are back from China for a few weeks and we want to get as much time with them as possible. (And we’re homeless in case you forgot.) China? you ask. No, they’re not Chinese, and after 2 years of living there, no they don’t look Chinese either. (Believe it or not, that is quite the popular comment.) They work at an international school and have been there since before Bailey was born, so it was fun for them to meet not one, but two nieces that have been born in their absence! I’ll post some pictures if I can find the appropriate cords to the camera. Our life for the next 6 weeks will be a big mess of boxes and bags. We had to pack up the majority of our stuff to put in storage, and then bring with us only what will fit in our van to last us until August.
Let me tell you how nice it is to have 4 babysitters living with you! I have Grandpa and Grandma, and Aunt and Uncle to hang out with Bailey whenever she wants (whether they like it or not!) Thankfully we’re just down the street from a park, so Bailey has become a frequent flyer. And I have yet to take her!
Oh, and some neighbors are really good friends. Bailey LOVES their 7 year old daughter, so she was over and they played in the back yard yesterday. I believe today we’re acquiring/borrowing a kiddy pool, so even more time outside! Maybe I’ll eventually get a tan.
So our time spent here will be our summer family vacation. I’m enjoying the time James is unemployed and he’s home with us all day. Even if he is itching to get back to doing something. 🙂
